Tom graduated from Washington and Lee University with a bachelor of science degree in biology. After deciding not to pursue a medical career, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola College in Maryland.
Tom began his career as a financial advisor with Legg Mason. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2004 by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination, and meeting stringent experience requirements.
Tom spends his free time away from the office with his wife, Marie, and sons, Eddie and Graham. The family likes to stay physically active by participating in many sports, including running, golf, and baseball. Tom has enjoyed the opportunity to coach his children’s sports teams through the years. A lifelong Maryland resident, Tom follows local sports and is a huge Baltimore Ravens and Maryland Terrapins fan. Tom is also passionate about cycling and has completed several century rides. Tom is a member of St. James Parish.
